Prep (Butler): A five-year starter for the Bearettes… Averaged nearly 20 points per game from her freshman season through her senior year… Named Kentucky[apos]s Miss Basketball en route to leading her team to the state championship game… Also lauded as the Most Valuable Player of the Kentucky Sweet Sixteen, despite missing the championship game due to a possible concussion… All-time leading career scorer at Butler Traditional amassed 2,790 points and pulled down 1,091 rebounds in her tenure… Two-time 6th Region Player of the Year in 2007 and 2008… Also played AAU ball for Coach Zena Heckstall[apos]s Louisville Sting… Led Kentucky squad to a home-and-home sweep over Indiana[apos]s all-star team, including the largest margin of victory in the rivalry, 101-62.
