Director of Recruiting

Chad Myers joined the Commodores as the program’s director of recruiting in May 2026. He spent the past two seasons as the national high school team head coach at Link Academy.

Myers has built a reputation as one of the best prep school recruiters and developers in the country. He’s produced over 50 DI signees across his prep coaching career.

While at Link Academy, Myers developed some of the best talent in the nation with double digit four-plus star recruits in his two seasons in Branson, Missouri. Myers’ 2024-25 roster included seven four-star prospects and five-star Chris Cenac, Jr. Five of those eight were seniors, all signing at the high-major level.

Myers also led the IMG Academy program for two seasons, amassing a 55-4 mark and two national tournament appearances. His extensive prep career also includes a two-year stint at Elev8 Academy where he produced 21 DI commits and a 50-14 record in two seasons.

Myers spent five years across two stints as the head coach at Massanutten Military Academy in Virginia. He amassed a 146-27 record while producing 25 DI signees in his time at MMA.

At the collegiate level, Myers served as an assistant at New Mexico State in the 2022-23 season and served as Radford’s director of operations from 2009-11.
