NASHVILLE, Tenn. — No. 25 Vanderbilt men’s basketball hosts Georgia in the final home game of the season on Wednesday night. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. at Memorial Gymnasium on SEC Network.

SENIOR NIGHT ON WEST END

  • Vanderbilt will honor four graduating seniors: Coleson Messer, Miles Keeffe, Devin McGlockton and Tyler Nickel.
  • Keeffe has spent the past four seasons at Vandy, Messer three and McGlockton and Nickel two. The group has helped lead the Commodores’ resurgence with 41 wins over the past two seasons.

CLOSE CALLS

  • Vanderbilt’s last three losses have come by a combined six points. Add in the Florida loss from January and four of Vandy’s six losses have come by a combined 10 points.
  • Saturday saw the Dores and Vols exchange the lead a season-high 20 times with seven ties. Vandy led with a minute to play, but Nate Ament’s jumper with 54 seconds to play put Tennessee ahead for good.

BING BRINGS IT AGAIN

  • The freshman continues to improve, dropping a season-high 11 points for the second time in SEC action to help the Dores to a win over Texas A&M.
  • Bing added a season-best six rebounds and a block to the Vandy victory.
  • Against Tennessee, Bing contributed eight points on 3-of-4 shooting with a pair of threes. He also added three rebounds, an assist and a block.
  • In the past four games, Bing has averaged 8.0 points and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field.

SERIES HISTORY

  • Vanderbilt and Georgia meet for the only time this season and the 154th clash in series history. Vandy holds a 96-57 edge in the all-time series.
  • Georgia has won two straight in the matchup, including an 11-point victory in Athens last season.
