The 16th-ranked Commodores carded a second-round team score of 306 and is in a tie for 14th place at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at the Long Cove Club in Hilton Head, S.C., with a team total of 607 (301-306). Commodore freshman Cindy Ha is the team’s individual leader with a two-round score of 149 (72-77, T-29).
Duke leads the team standings with a 576 (293-283) after shooting a tournament-low 283 on Saturday. The Blue Devils lead second-place LSU by one stroke heading into the final round Sunday. Duke’s Leona Maguire is the individual leader with a 138 after carding a tournament-record 65 on Saturday.
The Commodores also counted a 75 from senior Kendall Martindale, a 76 from freshman Alexandra Farnsworth, and a 78 from sophomore Antonia Scherer.
The final round concludes Sunday in Hilton Head.
