BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – SEC Tipoff’24 will take place this Wednesday and Thursday in Birmingham, Alabama.
Student-athletes and head coaches from each SEC school’s men’s basketball and women’s basketball teams will gather in Birmingham once again for the annual SEC Tipoff event to talk to local and national media and preview the 2023-24 season.
SEC Tipoff’24 will open Wednesday with the men’s basketball teams. Along with Vanderbilt men’s basketball head coach Jerry Stackhouse, senior Tyrin Lawrence and fifth-year senior Ezra Manjon will represent the Commodores in Birmingham. Coach Stackhouse, Lawrence, and Manjon are scheduled to appear on the Paul Finebaum Show from 3:05-3:20 p.m. on the SEC Network.
Women’s basketball takes center stage at the SEC Tipoff’24 Thursday. It will be the third SEC Tipoff event for Vanderbilt women’s basketball head coach Shea Ralph. Graduate student Jordyn Cambridge and junior Sacha Washington will be in attendance for the Commodores to speak to the local and national media. The SEC Network will air an interview with Coach Ralph, Cambridge, and Washington at SEC Tipoff’24 at 11 a.m. SEC Network+ will stream Coach Ralph’s press conference at 1 p.m.
