BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – SEC Tipoff ’26 takes place this Tuesday at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Birmingham, Alabama.
Student-athletes and head coaches from each SEC school’s men’s basketball and women’s basketball teams will gather in Birmingham once again for the annual SEC Tipoff event to talk to local and national media and preview the 2025-26 season.
Both Vanderbilt men’s and women’s basketball teams will be highlighted at the SEC Tipoff ’26 on Tuesday. Head coach Mark Byington, and players Devin McGlockton, Tyler Nickel and Tyler Tanner will represent the men’s squad, while women’s basketball head coach Shea Ralph and players Mikayla Blakes, Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda and Sacha Washington will be in Birmingham.
SEC Network will air coverage of the SEC Tipoff ’26 starting at 9 a.m. CT. All head coach and player press conferences will stream live on SEC Network+.
Vanderbilt men’s basketball takes center stage at SEC Tipoff ’26, with Byington starting at 9:35 CT, while the players go at 9:50 a.m. CT.
Commodore women’s basketball press conferences will start with Ralph at 10:35 a.m. CT, and the players will take the stage at 10:50 a.m. CT.
Coverage of the media showcase will be hosted by Alyssa Lang and Dari Nowkhah. They will be joined by analysts Pat Bradley, Daymeon Fishback and Steffi Sorensen throughout the two days.
