SEC Slate Finalized

TV Designations and tip times announced for 18 conference contests

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Southeastern Conference and ESPN announced finalized dates, tip times and television designations for the full SEC schedule along with select nonconference games. All 18 Vanderbilt men’s basketball conference games will air on the ESPN family of networks with an additional five nonconference contests slotted for linear broadcast.

Vanderbilt’s eight SEC midweek contests all received finalized dates with the Commodores opening their conference home slate against Alabama on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m.

Memorial Gymnasium will host a primetime ESPN showdown between the Dores and Kentucky on Tuesday, Jan. 27. The contest is one of six potential ESPN appearances for Vanderbilt this season.

In addition to the complete SEC schedule, Vanderbilt’s nonconference tilts against Central Arkansas and at Memphis will also air on the ESPN family of networks. Vandy will host Central Arkansas in a 5:30 p.m. tipoff on SEC Network on Dec. 13 while the Dores’ trip to Memphis on Dec. 17 will tip at 6 p.m. on ESPN2. All three of Vanderbilt’s games at the Battle 4 Atlantis in November will air of ESPN networks as well.
