SEC Releases Revised All-Tournament Team 3/8/2005 The following women’s basketball players have been added to the SEC All-Tournament Team: Ashley Earley (Vanderbilt), Brittany Jackson (Tennessee) and Shanna Zolman (Tennessee). Shyra Ely (Tennessee), Seimone Augustus (LSU), Temeka Johnson (LSU), Tasha Humphrey (Georgia) and Armentie Price (Ole Miss) were named to the team Sunday night, following the conclusion of the championship game. Games were inadvertently omitted from the cumulative tournament stats provided to the all-tournament voting committee and therefore it was determined that those student-athletes who received multiple votes affected should be added to the all-tournament team. “Each student-athlete named to the all-tournament team deserves this honor. I am pleased that we able to correct this error and recognize these student-athletes and their outstanding performances,” said Commissioner Mike Slive. |
