Dores to welcome first-year league member Texas, visit Oklahoma in 18-game slate

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Southeastern Conference announced the matchups for the 2024-25 men’s basketball season on Monday. The 18-game slate will see Vanderbilt play all 15 conference foes, including newcomers Texas and Oklahoma.

The Commodores will play nine home games and nine road games in the regular season slate, which will tip off on Saturday, January 4. The schedule features three home-and-home series, two against permanent opponents and one which will rotate each year. For 2024-25, the Dores will face rivals Tennessee and Kentucky twice along with Missouri.

Vanderbilt will play host to Texas while traveling to Oklahoma in the first season as SEC members for the Longhorns and Sooners.
