NASHVILLE, Tenn. — ESPN has announced the network schedule for the inaugural ACC/SEC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Challenge, a multi-night event that matches men’s and women’s college basketball teams from two of the top conferences, the ACC and the SEC.
The Commodores will face Boston College in the Men’s Challenge, with the Nov. 29 matchup at Memorial Gymnasium set for 8:15 p.m. on the SEC Network. The two programs have split eight previous contests and have not played since Dec. 30, 2000.
In the Women’s Challenge, Vandy will visit NC State on Nov. 29 at 6:15 p.m. on the ACC Network. It will be the ninth meeting in the all-time series with the Wolfpack after the two played at the Cancun Challenge last season, and the Commodores’ first visit to Raleigh since the 2018-19 campaign.
Tickets and mini plans are on sale now for both the Vanderbilt men’s basketball and women’s basketball teams.
