2012-13 Women’s Basketball Promotional Schedule | Ticket Office
Women’s basketball season is just around the corner and Head Coach Melanie Balcomb’s squad is poised to have a special season. The Commodores return 10 of 11 players from last year, highlighted by the 2011-12 SEC’s scoring leader, Christina Foggie.
With preseason rankings of 16th in the Associated Press Poll and 17th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, the expectations are high. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of Memorial Magic this season and see some of the best teams in women’s basketball.

In addition to exciting action on the court, every home date features exciting promotions for fans of all ages.
Annual promotions such as Teddy Bear Toss (December 22 vs. College of Charleston), Jam the Gym (January 13 vs. Arkansas), Pink Out (February 10 vs. Kentucky) and Vanderbilt Employee Celebration (January 24 vs. Tennessee) are set, while there are some new twists as well.
In December, Vanderbilt will offer Five Dollar Days, with tickets for all three home contests (Dec. 1, Dec. 6, Dec. 22) costing just five dollars each.
All Sunday home SEC games will against feature a Kids Zone in the Memorial practice gym. Opening 90 minutes before tipoff, the carnival features inflatables, cotton candy, face tattoos and more.
The January 3 SEC opener against Mississippi State will be Take a Kid to a Game Night. When a parent buys one adult ticket, they’ll receive one youth ticket for free.
That will be followed by the annual Jam the Gym promotion on Sunday, January 13. When Arkansas visits Memorial Gym, all tickets will cost just one dollar. When Tennessee visits two weeks later, Vanderbilt University and Medical Center employees will have the opportunity to claim free tickets for themselves and their families.
The annual alumni reunion returns on Sunday, February 3, when the Commodores host Ole Miss, but this year as an extra twist. Vanderbilt will take the occasion to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 1993 Final Four team.
The final Sunday home game of the season on February 24 against Texas A&M will be Military and Hometown Heroes Appreciation Night. There will be special offers for all active, reserve and retired military, as well as for police, fire and EMTs.
In addition, some of the most popular halftime acts will return this season, including mascot basketball on December 6 vs. Hartford, the quick change performance on January 13 against Arkansas and the Red Panda acrobat on January 24 against Tennessee.
Three games will feature postgame autograph sessions with the team: January 13 vs. Arkansas, February 3 vs. Ole Miss and February 24 vs. Texas A&M.

SEC Tournament Tickets
