Vanderbilt forward Samir Sehic will transfer from Vanderbilt, head coach Bryce Drew announced Wednesday, May 18.
Sehic played in 22 games in 2015-16 as a true freshman and averaged 1.2 points and 1.4 rebounds per game. Sehic scored a career-high three points on three occasions and grabbed a career-high seven rebounds in the season opener against Austin Peay.
“I would first like to thank the coaching staff that recruited me to Vanderbilt,” said Sehic. “I really appreciate everything Coach Stallings and his staff did for me. Also, I want to thank Coach Drew and the new coaching staff at Vanderbilt for giving me the opportunity to continue to be a student-athlete at VU. I have created relationships here that have become family, especially ones with my teammates.”
