Coach Nelson on Taryn DeWese… Taryn’s game has matured a lot—mentally and technically. She runs a fast, creative and balanced offense when she’s in rhythm, which fits our system well. Her athleticism as a setter remains her greatest strength. We see her hybrid serve as a real weapon especially when she’s feeling it from behind the line.

• Played in 47 sets, tallying 141 assists and 39 digs
• Registered a double-double vs. Georgia with 14 assists and 11 digs
• Recorded a season-high 23 assists at Alabama
