Coach Nelson on Jackie Moore… Jackie put up huge offensive numbers in the practice gym and during our exhibitions this spring. Her vision, decision-making and range make her tough to stop. We challenged her to become more physical as a blocker, and we love the progress she’s made. We’ve also loved watching her grow as a leader within her young position group.

• Recorded a career-high 31 kills at Mississippi State (most kills by a middle in an NCAA Division I match since 2015)
• Led Vanderbilt in kills (334), hitting percentage (.389), blocks (105) and points (.398.5)
• During the SEC Tournament, recorded 36 kills (3.60 per set) and 16 blocks (1.60 per set) while hitting at a .492 clip
• Named to Michella Chester’s Rotation of the Week – Nov. 25
• Set a new career-best in kills four times this season
• Sixteen matches this season with 10-plus kills
• Season-best eight blocks vs. Ole Miss
