LAST TIME AGAINST THE REBS

- Malik Dia and AJ Storr led the Rebels with 16 points apiece. Ole Miss had a look at the game-tying shot as time expired but Dia’s three rimmed off as Vandy held on.
COLD SPELL
- Vanderbilt has gone cold from three over the last two games, shooting just 14-of-54 (.259). It’s the first time in SEC play this season Vandy has shot under 30 percent from three in back-to-back games.
- Tyler Nickel has also hit an icy patch, shooting just 5-of-26 from three in the past three games. One of the best shooters in the nation, Nickel’s season shooting percentage has dropped nearly three points in the cold spell.
TANNER MAKING HISTORY
- With 69 steals on the season, Tanner already ranks fourth among single seasons in program history. He’s just eight shy of the single season record of 77.
- His 152 assists rank fourth by a sophomore in Vanderbilt history. The record is 172.
- The 152 assists are tied for 10th in single-season program history and his 5.6 apg ranks third.
- With 536 points this season, Tanner is just the third Vanderbilt sophomore to ever score 500 in a season, joining John Jenkins (624) and Damian Jones (506).
- His 18.5 ppg would rank fourth among Vandy sophomores behind Scotty Pippen Jr., John Jenkins and Clyde Lee.
