- Soccer’s Molly Kinsella is one of 10 finalists for the Lowes Senior CLASS Award. It’s a national honor that will be determined by a combination of on-line fan voting along with media and coaching input. Molly is a molecular and cellular biology major who has made our Dean’s List every semester; she has led the soccer team in scoring three years and has been active in community service. She currently leads fan voting and needs your help; you can vote once per day through November 14 by clicking here. Voting requires just a matter of seconds.
- Dish Network has dropped FOX Sports Tennessee and 18 other regional sports networks nationwide October 1 after a dispute over, what else, money. As a result, Southeastern Conference football and basketball games that are televised over these affected networks will not be available to Dish customers, including Saturday’s South Carolina game.
- David Williams brought ESPN’s John Skipper, the network’s Executive Vice President, to campus Wednesday to visit with his leadership development class. Skipper was a big hit with his overview of ESPN programming strategy and aggressive business philosophy.
- Children from the Martha O’Bryan home are teaming up with our student-athletes to have a safe and fun Trick or Treating experience on our campus.
