Celebrate Pride Month by entering a design idea for the annual Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball Pride Game Poster Contest! The winning design will be featured on a free poster giveaway at the annual Pride Game hosted during the 2024-25 season. Game date will be announced at a later date. We encourage the use of Pride and Vanderbilt imagery as well as the theme of “All Are Welcome Here”.

This sweepstakes is run by Vanderbilt University and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.
-Must be over 18 to enter
-Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
-Contest will run from June 13, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. CT until June 24, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT
-One (1) winner will be selected during the week of June 24, 2024 and will be contacted by Instagram direct message if they entered on Instagram or by email if they entered via web form
DESIGN RULES
- Design must be appropriate.
- Design may incorporate the theme of “All Are Welcome Here” as well as Pride flags and colors.
- Design may utilize Vanderbilt iconography and logos.
- Design must fit on an 8.5”x11” sheet of paper and can be horizontal or vertical designs.

The VandyWBB Pride Poster Design Contest is governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”). By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the contest, as determined by Sponsor and its agents, are final in all respects. The contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion will be directed to Sponsor, not the social media platform in question.
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to anyone who is at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States where not prohibited by law. Vanderbilt has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant. Employees of Vanderbilt University’s Communications and Marketing are not eligible to win.
CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins June 13, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. CT until June 24, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT (“Contest Period”). All entries (submissions) must be received on or before the time stated during that submission period. Vanderbilt reserves the right to extend or shorten the contest at their sole discretion.
HOW TO ENTER
You can enter the sweepstakes by submitting your design through the official submission website.
Each entrant is allowed up to 5 submissions. You will not be disqualified for exceeding the maximum of 5 submissions.
USE OF ENTRIES
All entries received by Vanderbilt become the property of Vanderbilt. By submitting artwork and/or design file, the entrant verifies that they are the only holder of the copyrights for the catalog and grant this license free of charge in exchange for Vanderbilt’s reasonable efforts to credit them as the author of the work, when possible and appropriate. Vanderbilt collects personal information from you when you enter the or Contest. Vanderbilt may use that information for its legitimate business interests, including education, research, and public service, and to promote engagement with and financial giving to Vanderbilt. When you submit an entry, you consent for Vanderbilt to utilize your personal information for these interests.
WINNER SELECTION
All eligible entries received during the Submission Period will be gathered into a database at the end of the Submission Period. Duplicate entries will be removed. One (1) winner will be chosen during the week of June 24, 2024. The winner will be contacted via email. If a winner has not responded to Administrator (or Sponsor) within 48 hours, another winner shall be chosen.
The winner will be announced by July 2, 2024. Announcement will be sent to the e-mail address supplied on the finalist information form. Each entrant is responsible for monitoring their e-mail and/or social media account for winner notification and receipt or other communications related to this contest. The potential winners may be required to return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Prize Acceptance Form and IRS W-9 form. If a potential winner fails to comply with these official rules, that potential winner will be disqualified. A winner may not be awarded if an insufficient number of eligible entries are received.
PRIZES
The winning design will be printed as a free poster at the annual Pride Game during the 2024-25 Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball season. Game date is to be announced.

Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the respective prize winner. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE ARE SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

Prize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to possible legal action by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend the Sweepstakes, without notice, and for any reason, including, without limitation, if Sponsor determines that the Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as planned or should a virus, bug, tampering or unauthorized intervention, technical failure or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Sweepstakes. In the event any tampering or unauthorized intervention may have occurred, Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entries at issue. Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives, and any telephone network or service providers, are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunction, lost or delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, line failure or malfunction of any telephone network, computer equipment or software, the inability to access any website or online service or any other error, human or otherwise.
INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
