NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Senior forward Mariella Fasoula was named to the Preseason All-SEC second team by the conference media and coaches.
Fasoula, who was a second-team honoree last season, started all 29 games for the Commodores in 2018-19. The communication studies major scored in double figures in all but six of those contests and led the team with 15.9 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game.
Prior to the start of the season, fans can see Fasoula and the Commodores at an open practice from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Nov. 3. Fans can RSVP to the open practice here.
Vanderbilt will host Jacksonville State to begin the season at 7 p.m. Nov. 5. The season-opener can be seen on SEC Network+.
