Team Records and Series Notes:

Vanderbilt falls to 16-2 on the season and 1-2 in Southeastern Conference play, while Tennessee improves to 15-1 and 3-0 in conference play.

Tennessee now leads the all-time series 106-66 and leads 68-20 in games played in Knoxville. The Volunteers have won seven of the last 10 meetings in Thompson-Boling Arena.

The Commodores now have an all-time record of 596-604 against current members of the SEC.

Vanderbilt returns to action on Saturday as it welcomes the LSU Tigers to Memorial Gym. Tip time is set for Noon (CST) and the game will be carried live on Raycom Sports (television) and the Vanderbilt/ISP Sports Network with Joe Fisher (play-by-play) and Tim Thompson (analyst).

Vanderbilt Team Notes:

Key Run: After Vanderbilt had cut the Volunteer lead to 61-53 with 7:47 remaining, Tennessee scored the next five points to stretch the lead to 13. Vanderbilt would get no closer than 11 points the rest of the way.

Key Stat: The Commodores registered season-lows in both field goal percentage and three-point field goal percentage. Vanderbilt shot 21-of-57 (36.8 percent) from the floor and 3-of-21 (14.3 percent) from beyond the arc.

Vanderbilt has used the starting lineup of Alex Gordon, Jermaine Beal, Shan Foster, Ross Neltner and A.J. Ogilvy in all but one game this season.

Vanderbilt has now made a three in 682 consecutive games, the second-longest streak in the country.

The Commodores were held to a season-low 60 points.

Vanderbilt Individual Notes:

Shan Foster led the Commodores in scoring with 14 points. Foster has been the leading scorer for the `Dores in 13 games this season and has scored in double-figures in 22 consecutive games. Foster also tied for the team lead in rebounding with six boards.

Jermaine Beal scored eight points and dished out five assists. Beal has had five or more assists in five of the last six games. Beal also tied a career-high with five rebounds.

Freshman center A.J. Ogilvy added 12 points, with 10 of those coming in the second half. Ogilvy has scored in double-figures in every game this season.

Freshman Darshawn McClellan tied a career-high with three assists. McClellan also recorded five points and six rebounds.

George Drake scored four points and brought down two rebounds. Drake found the scoring column for the first time since scoring 10 against Iona on December 31.
