Vanderbilt Head Coach Melanie Balcomb:
On coming off a long break:
“It was important to get our confidence back. Coming off the loss to Colorado, we needed to get our focus back and feel good. We don’t want our players headed into the Christmas break thinking negative things. It’s important to be thinking positively.”
On Vanderbilt’s defense:
“Lipscomb moved the ball well. They had good ball rotation and set screens. We didn’t get to play as much match-up as we wanted. One key was not fouling. We didn’t want to get in early foul trouble.”
