Vanderbilt is now 24-8 overall, 13-4 in the Southeastern Conference.

VU began the game 0-8 from the field over the first 5:06, but was able to hold Auburn to just six points over that stretch.

With her 20 points today, senior forward Christina Wirth moved into 11th on Vanderbilt’s all-time scoring list with 1,521 career points.
Wirth led Vandy in scoring for the 16th time this season, including all three games in the SEC Tournament.
Wirth and junior guard Meredith Marsh each played every minute of the SEC Tournament for Vanderbilt.
Vanderbilt becomes the only team to defeat Auburn twice this season.
AUBURN NOTES
This marks the 10th consecutive season that the top seed in the SEC Tournament has failed to win the title. The last regular-season champ to claim the tourney title was Tennessee in 1999.
Auburn is now 29-3 overall, 14-3 in the Southeastern Conference.
The Tigers are now 32-25 all-time in the SEC Tournament, 0-5 against Vanderbilt.
Auburn is now 4-2 against ranked teams this season.
AU was 0-7 from three-point range tonight, marking the first time this season the Tigers were held without a trey.
Senior forward Dewanna Bonner was held to single-digits for just the third time this season. Her nine points on the afternoon marked a season low.
Senior guard Whitney Boddie led the Tigers with 14 points, her 20th game this season in double-figures.
