“I thought we had a good effort. We didn’t play well early. We started coming back but we could not put ourselves in a position to win. This was a tough game for us. Now we have to try to do something that nobody in the country thinks we can do, go down and beat LSU on their home court.”
“They took advantage of us having to substitute. They used it to their advantage and got some great looks that they were easily able to put away.”
“I think we have really struggled mentally the last two or three games. Vanderbilt knew what they had to do tonight. They knew that we are a team with some problems, and they came out and did a great job of exploiting them. We don’t have a team full of older, more experienced guys. These kids are struggling, trying to find their way out of this skid.”
“I have been very proud of Dwayne (Curtis) over the stretch. He’s proven that he’s a good effective inside big-man, and I feel that he will continue to be that.” |
