NIT Fan Guide

Key links, information available for prior to Sunday's men’s basketball NIT home game

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt men’s basketball team continues play in the National Invitation Tournament on Sunday when Dayton visits Memorial Gymnasium for a second-round game.

Here are six things for Commodore fans to know prior to tip off against the Flyers:

  • Game day details
  • Tickets are still available — $20 reserved, $15 general admission, $5 youth/students
  • Parking passes are available for purchase for the 25th Ave. Garage — $10 in advance, $15 if not purchased in advance.
  • We are expecting big crowds at Sunday’s events, and we are staffing up as much as possible, but please be prepared for potentially longer wait times than usual. We’re hosting multiple events across multiple on-campus facilities — as is the case throughout Nashville — with significant overlap among game day workers.
  • Fans are no longer required to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to enter Memorial Gymnasium. Vanderbilt also no longer requires masking indoors, aligning with the CDC’s recent COVID-19 community level guidance.
  • Seating map — where will you be cheering on the Commodores from within Memorial Gymnasium? NIT games at Memorial have both reserved and general admission seating. Sections A-E, Section F, and Section L are reserved seating and therefore require a game ticket with one of those sections listed. Tickets with GA listed in the “section” area mean general admission seating. Please note: Sections G-K are where Vanderbilt students sit for games, and therefore will be have large groups of students, and standing, throughout the game. Please consult the map to view general admissions seating areas.
