NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Vanderbilt bowling team, ranked second in the NTCA December poll, will open its spring season at Sacred Heart’s Northeast Classic in New Castle, Delaware.
Annually one of the largest events in college bowling, the Northeast Classic will be the first of five regular season spring tournaments before the Commodores head to the Conference USA Bowling Championships and look to make their 20th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in April.
The last time out
To end the fall season, the Commodores earned a second-place finish at the Colonial Lanes Classic where junior Dannielle Henderson was named to the all-tournament team, and freshman Katelyn Abigania received all-tournament second-team honors.
Vandy earned top 3 finishes at the Bulldog Classic and Destination Orlando and placed at least one student-athlete on the all-tournament team at three of four fall events.

Format
Friday – five sets of five Baker matches beginning at 8:30 a.m. CT
Saturday – five traditional matches beginning at 8:25 a.m.
Sunday – three best-of-seven Baker matches beginning at 7:25 a.m.
