Thanks to a group of friends, Vanderbilt Head Coach Melanie Balcomb received quite the birthday present last week when her image on the Vanderbilt mural on the corner of 28th Ave. and West End Ave. was updated.
The mural, which also includes images of football coach Robbie Caldwell and men’s basketball coach Kevin Stallings was created by local artist Michael Cooper. Just a few weeks earlier, Cooper had added Caldwell’s picture to the wall.
