Following its success from football season, Vanderbilt Athletics is launching Mr. C’s Reading Club for basketball and baseball seasons in 2018-19!
Earlier this fall Vanderbilt, with support from Ingram Charities, launched a reading program for students in Pre K through 4th grade at Metro Nashville Public Schools. Now students who complete the Winter Reading Challenge will become members of Mr. C’s Reading Club and receive access to a free ticket for one Vanderbilt men’s and one women’s basketball game.
The Winter Reading Challenge is simple: Complete nine reading assignments (at least 20 minutes of independent reading a day) and track your progress on the Road to Reading Excellence map. Upon completion, visit your school librarian/official for more information.
