NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt volleyball middle Jackie Moore was named to the AVCA All-South Region First Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
There are 14 all-region team members and 6-8 honorable mention selections for each of the 10 regions. Moore is one of 14 student-athletes to be selected by the South Region’s coaches.
Moore led the Commodores in kills (334), blocks (105) and hitting percentage (.389) during the reinstated program’s first season and ranks third in the SEC in hitting percentage. At Mississippi State, Moore recorded a career-high 31 kills, her fourth time this season resetting her career-best in kills. It was the most kills recorded by an NCAA Division I middle in any match since 2015. Moore’s accomplishments during the regular season earned a spot on the All-SEC Second Team. She was also tabbed the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year. At the 2025 Allstate SEC Volleyball Tournament, Moore helped lead 15-seed Vanderbilt to a quarterfinals berth, averaging 3.6 kills and 1.6 blocks per set and hitting .492 over the course of three matches.
This is Moore’s third all-region nod as she was also named to the All-Pacific South Region Team while competing at Loyola Marymount in 2022 and 2023.
