NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Senior forward Molly Kinsella was named SEC Offensive Player of the week, as announced by the league office this morning.

Kinsella had part in all three of Vanderbilt’s goals this weekend, as she helped the Commodores earn six points in two road matches. On Friday, the Memphis, Tenn., native assisted on both of Vanderbilt’s goals in a 2-1 overtime victory at Arkansas. At LSU on Sunday, Molly scored the teams lone goal in the 68th minute of play off a pass from her sister, Meghan.

This is the third SEC weekly honor of Kinsella’s career, as she was named Freshman of the Week (10/8) in 2007 and Offensive Player of the Week (9/8) in 2009.

Kinsella leads the team with nine points on three goals and three assists. She has earned All-SEC honors each of her previous three seasons with the ‘Dores.

The Commodores return to the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex this weekend to host Auburn and Alabama. Friday night’s game against the Tigers is slated for 7 p.m. while Sunday’s matchup will take place at 2 p.m.
