Men’s Basketball Season Ticket Sales Continue 12/7/2005 Vanderbilt will continue to offer $75 season tickets to its men’s basketball games until December 16 according to director of marketing Eric Nichols. With season ticket sales nearing the 9,000 mark and season ticket holders and National Commodore Club members having been given the first opportunity at single game tickets, Nichols also announced there will be no public offering of single game tickets to the February 11 Kentucky game. “There is considerable interest in our basketball team,” Nichols says. “We will be putting single game tickets on sale for every available game after December 16 but Kentucky will not be included. Only the remaining season tickets include the Kentucky game.” Attendance has been upbeat in Memorial Gymnasium. Nearly 13,000 fans crowded into Memorial Gymnasium last Wednesday to watch Vanderbilt stun Oregon, 76-75, on a last-second shot by Mario Moore. Tickets are available by calling 615-322-GOLD or by going on-line at www.VUcommodores.com |
