NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Due to a lack of available student-athletes as a result of quarantining individuals with positive COVID-19 tests and those designated as close contacts, along with injuries, the Nov. 25 women’s basketball game against Tennessee Tech has been canceled.
“As we have seen here at Vanderbilt and across the country, disruption is likely while competing in a pandemic,” said Candice Lee, Vanderbilt’s vice chancellor for athletics and university affairs and athletics director. “We must continue to be as flexible as possible, and the health and safety of our student-athletes and our community remains a top priority.”
