Martindale, Stratton tied for 1st at Pure Silk

Second Round Results

Vanderbilt’s Kendall Martindale and Lauren Stratton currently sit at six-under par after the second round of the Pure Silk Team Collegiate Championship and the pair is in a tie for the lead at the Wedgewood Golf and Country Club in Powell, Ohio.

The Commodore duo shot a 66 in Wednesday’s Best Ball format, the second-lowest round of the day.

Martindale and Stratton, who were in a tie for second heading into Wednesday’s festivities, are now tied with Meredith Swanson and Samantha Swinehart of South Carolina and Ashley Armstrong and Kristina Nhim of Notre Dame.

The final round of the Pure Silk Team Collegiate Championship concludes on Thursday, with an aggregate score format awaiting the players.
