Vanderbilt is currently in eighth place in the team standings with a score of 625 (308-317).
Lundskog is the leading Vanderbilt golfer and is in a tie for 16th place with a two-round total of 152 (78-74). The Commodores started out slow on the front nine, shooting 33-over par in windy conditions, but rebounded on the back, going seven-over on the final nine holes. Grehan and Concolino were only one-over on the final nine holes.
“We’re going to be just fine, and I think we saw signs of what we can do on the back nine,” said Vanderbilt head coach Greg Allen. “If we can come out tomorrow and put together a good score, we can get a good result.
“We got another solid effort from Amber. I’m really proud of her. She’s brought a good spark to our team. I think her time away from golf really put the game into perspective for her, and she’s real excited to be on the golf course.”
The fifth ranked Florida Gators lead the tournament after two days of play with a score of 590 (297-293), five strokes better than Arkansas, who sits at 595 (297-298).
Defending NCAA champion Stacy Lewis of Arkansas leads the individual field with a two-under par 142 (69-73), one stroke better than Hannah Yun of Florida, who has a score of 143 (73-70).
