Love Named Florida Player of the Year

Vanderbilt recruit named top player in Florida

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Koi Love, a member of Vanderbilt’s 2019-20 signing class, has been named the USA Today High School Player of the Year for the state of Florida.

Love closed her senior campaign averaging 18 points and 11 rebounds.

The 5’10” guard announced her commitment to Vanderbilt on November 14.

“Koi is a dynamic, versatile playmaker that adds size, speed and athleticism to our team,” head coach Stephanie White said. “She’s a player that will make an immediate impact not only because of her offensive skill set and ability to score at will, but her ability to defend multiple positions and her intense competitiveness.
