Jasmine Lister and Christina Foggie are both standing on the doorstep of major accomplishments — feats that will further cement their legacies as two of the premier players in Vanderbilt history.
As the No. 16/18 Commodores (16-4, 5-2) prepare to play Missouri tonight at 7 p.m., Lister is primed to become Vanderbilt’s all-time leader in minutes played.
The senior guard from Corona, Cali., who has been in the starting lineup for every game of her career (118 and counting), has logged 4,220 minutes of playing time since her arrival in Nashville. She needs just 30 more minutes of action to surpass Zuzi Klimesova (1999-02) and become the program’s all-time leader. Klimesova logged 4,249 minutes in her career.
Foggie, meanwhile, is on the cusp of becoming Vanderbilt’s all-time leader in 3-pointers. She comes into tonight’s game with 249 for her career, and needs eight more to become the program’s all-time leader. Foggie currently ranks third on the list, trailing only Abi Ramsey (252) and Meredith Marsh (256).
Foggie, who is already the program’s all-time leader in 3-point attempts, has made 55 three-pointers this season, and is on pace to challenge former Commodore standout Caroline Williams’ single-season record of 95 (set in 2005-06).
