Lim Named SEC Freshman of the Year

Four Commodores honored by league

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt had four Commodores honored by the Southeastern Conference on Thursday, led by Lynn Lim being named the league’s Freshman of the Year.

Lim, from Gallatin, was twice named SEC Freshman of the Week during the regular season. She has four top-10 finishes and has a stroke average of 72.3 through seven events.

Lim and fellow freshman Tillie Claggett also made the league’s All-Freshman team while Celina Sattelkau was a First Team selection. Sattelkau has six top-10 finishes this season and a team-high 13 rounds under-par.

Claggett was named SEC Freshman of the Week in early February. She has 12 rounds under-par this season along with two top-10 finishes.

Vandy senior Tess Davenport was honored by being named to the league’s Community Service team.
