Kentucky Sold-Out; Other Tickets on Sale

Vanderbilt men’s and women’s single game basketball tickets remain on sale, although the Commodore men’s February 5 home game with Kentucky was a quick sellout.

“We put all of our single game tickets on sale on-line and through our telephone ordering system December 11,” Ticket Manager Marty McGinty said, “and the Kentucky game sold out in one hour and 17 minutes.”

McGinty reports that sales were also strong for the women’s game against Tennessee on January 16, although there are still many good tickets remaining for that premier contest.

“We continue to sell more and more tickets on-line,” McGinty reports.  “As people get comfortable with the internet and gain confidence in on-line purchasing, they realize it is very easy and convenient to use. They can order tickets 24 hours a day, seven days a week on-line.”

Tickets for all remaining men’s and women’s games can be purchased over the internet at commodoregameday.com or by stopping by or calling the Vanderbilt Ticket Office in McGugin Center Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:00 p.m.  The ticket office telephone is 615-322-GOLD (4653).

Men’s tickets range in price from $18 to $25 while women’s tickets are $7 to $17 depending upon the game.
