Vanderbilt junior Jennifer Hahn has been named the SEC’s Women’s Golfer of the Week after claiming her second individual title of the season and third of her career last week at the UCF Challenge.
Hahn finished the UCF Challenge with a final total of nine-under par, 207 (70-67-70), which tied her with Virginia’s Lauren Diaz-Yi for the individual championship. As a team, the Commodores finished in fourth place with a final score of five-under par, 859 (277-282-300), nine strokes back of team champion Virginia. Hahn carded a two-under par 70 in her final round on Tuesday, which tied for the lowest individual round of the day after carding five birdies in her final trip around the Eagle Creek Golf Club.
Hahn shared the award with Jordy LaBarbera of Arkansas.
The Commodores return to the course this Sunday-Tuesday at the AllState Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate in New Orleans.
