Rising junior John Jenkins has made the final training roster of 14 squad members for the USA Basketball World University Games team, it was announced Sunday by USA Basketball. The training camp continues with two practices each day at the U.S. Olympic Training Center (USOTC) in Colorado Springs, Colo., July 31 through Aug. 7, and the official 12-member roster will be announced prior to Aug. 8, when the team departs for China.
Following three days of training camp that featured 20 elite college players, USA Basketball today announced 14 finalists for the 2011 USA Men’s World University Games Team. The selections were made by the USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team Committee.
