Vanderbilt men’s basketball player Alan Metcalfe will be sidelined for an estimated six weeks after suffering a fracture in his left foot during the Wake Forest game on Nov. 21.
The junior forward from St. Helens, England broke the second metatarsal in his left foot midway through the second half of Vanderbilt’s 88-78 setback in Winston Salem.
Metcalfe, who has started both of the Commodores’ games this season, was averaging 5.5 points, 3.5 rebounds.
