Inclement weather forecast cancels Vandyville

Nov. 17, 2017

UPDATE (3:41 p.m.): Due to the weather forecast, gates are now scheduled to open at 5:45 p.m. Please follow @VUCommodores and/or @VandyFootball on twitter for updates.

After reviewing the latest weather forecast with the potential for high winds, the Vanderbilt athletics department, based on a recommendation from Vanderbilt University’s Office of Emergency Preparedness (OEP), will not set up the Vandyville tent area on Natchez Trace prior to the game against Missouri on Saturday, November 18, 2017. In addition to the Vandyville area, the athletic department will not set up the Max Nance Kids Zone presented by Ingram Industries; the National Commodore Club’s Tailgate has also been canceled.

We apologize for the inconvenience. This decision was made to ensure our fans’ safety in and around Vanderbilt Stadium on game day. For those affected with tents in the Vandyville area or for those fans who have purchased tickets to the NCC Tailgate, the Vanderbilt athletic department will reach out to you to discuss conditions of refunds.
