NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Memorial Gymnasium is set for a pair of marquee nonconference matchups as Vanderbilt men’s basketball will host Wake Forest and UCF in November.
The Demon Deacons will visit Memorial Gym on Nov. 5 while the Knights travel to Nashville on Nov. 20. Both matchups mark return games after the Commodores earned road wins last season.
Vanderbilt and Wake Forest meet in the second game of the year after the Dores dominated the Deacs, 98-67, in Winston-Salem, N.C., in December. Vandy is now 7-4 all-time against Wake Forest, including three-straight victories in the series. The November matchup marks the first meeting in Nashville since 2007, an 83-80 Commodore win.
UCF’s visit to Memorial Gymnasium will be the first ever for the Knights. Last year’s Vandy victory in Orlando was the first meeting in the series, with the Dores earning a 105-93 win. The Knights finished the season 21-12 and earned a No. 10 seed in the NCAA tournament, falling to UCLA in the opening round.
The pair of early season matchups in the 2026-27 season marks the first time two power conference opponents will visit Memorial Gymnasium in nonconference action since the 2017-18 season.
