Homecoming Events

It’s homecoming week, meaning there will be no shortage of events taking place on Vanderbilt’s campus this weekend and beyond. This is especially the case with Vanderbilt’s athletic teams.

The calendar is dotted with a number of home events, including two soccer matches, a women’s tennis tournament, football game, basketball fan event and baseball’s Black & Gold Series. A complete schedule of events is listed below. Please note there is free admission to all athletic events with the exception of the football game against Missouri at 3 p.m. Saturday. To purchase tickets, click here.

Homecoming events get started Thursday on campus. For a complete list of homecoming events, click here. Notable events that have ties to athletics include baseball coach Tim Corbin speaking at Sarratt Cinema at 11:30 a.m. Friday, the National Commodore Club providing athletic facilities tours from 2-4 p.m. Friday in McGugin Center and a Q&A with author Andrew Maraniss and Vanderbilt hall of famer Perry Wallace at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Sarratt Cinema. Maraniss is the author of New York Times bestseller “Strong Inside,” a biography on Wallace, the first African-American basketball player in the SEC.

Vanderbilt’s annual Commodore Quake concert will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gym. For more information on Commodore Quake, featuring The Band Perry and Third Eye Blind, click here.

Road Closures
For those planning on visiting campus, please be aware of significant road closures due to continuous work to repair bridges on I-40 through downtown Nashville. I-40 will be closed from the I-40/I-65 split west of downtown to the I-40/I-65 split south of downtown from 8 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday morning. More Information
