LAS VEGAS – For the third straight day a different Commodore led Vanderbilt’s contingent at the USA Team Trials and National Amateur Championship.
Senior Amanda Fry led the way Tuesday, placing 21st in what was a high-scoring day for many of the competitors. The Californian was followed by Kasey Eaton (28), Katie Stark (43), Josie Earnest (60), Robyn Renslow (62), Jordan Newham (75) and Nicole Powell (80).
Stark tops the Vanderbilt group in the important overall standings in 18th place. Renslow is 22nd, Fry 26th and Earnest 30th. Qualifying for Thursday’s step-ladder finals continues Wednesday.
