Football and golf teams at home this weekend

It will be another busy weekend for Vanderbilt’s athletic teams at home and on the road. Competing Middle Tennessee will be Vanderbilt’s men’s and women’s golf teams and football team. Away from home, the men’s tennis team will play in the SEC Fall Classics in Gainesville, Fla., and the soccer team plays at Georgia.

The weekend of competition begins Friday with the men’s and women’s golf teams playing in tournament in Middle Tennessee. The women’s team is hosting the Mason Rudolph Championship at Vanderbilt Legends Club (More Information). The men’s team will be playing west of town in the Dick’s Sporting Goods Collegiate Cup at The Golf Club of Tennessee.

Coming off a win against UMass last weekend, Vanderbilt’s football team faces No. 14 South Carolina at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Be sure to visit Gameday Central for everything you need to know about Saturday’s game. The game will be televised on SEC Network with Brent Musburger and Jesse Palmer on the call.

For the second week in a row, Vanderbilt’s men’s tennis team will play on the road. This week, the Commodores travel to Gainesville, Fla., to play in the SEC Fall Classics.

After having Friday off, Vanderbilt’s soccer team opens SEC play on the road at Georgia. The game starts at 2 p.m. Sunday and will air on SEC Network. Watch
