LAS VEGAS — Vanderbilt bowling student-athletes Katelyn Abigania, Sydney Bohn, Avery Domaguin, Dannielle Henderson and Saphyre Nofuente will represent the Commodores as members of 2026 Junior Team USA, the U.S. Bowling Congress announced Thursday.
Bowling’s Abigania, Alyssa Ballard, Domaguin, Henderson, Nofuente and Tamia Yeager, and the program’s two signees, Lindsay Greim and Macy Jones, competed at the 2026 USBC Team USA Trials and U.S. Amateur at Gold Coast Lanes.
The Commodores’ top individual finisher was Domaguin who ended the qualifying rounds fourth overall and third among U.S. Amateur competitors. Nofuente and Abigania earned top 20 finishes, placing 15th and 18th respectively. For their efforts, Abigania and Domaguin were also named to the adult national team.
On Day 3, Jones bowled a perfect 300 in round 4.
The Vanderbilt bowling team is back in action Jan. 16-18 when the Commodores head to New Castle, Delaware, for the Northeast Classic.
