NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt bowling, seeded second nationally, will continue the Commodores’ quest for the program’s fourth national championship on Friday at the National Collegiate Bowling Championship at Yorktown Lanes in Parma Heights, Ohio.
THE LAST TIME OUT
• After defeating Maryville in the 2026 Rochester Regional final, the Commodores claimed the program’s third regional championship and secured Vanderbilt’s 11th Final Four Appearance
• Vanderbilt’s lineup of Natalie Kent, Alyssa Ballard, Avery Domaguin, Dannielle Henderson and Katelyn Abigania bowled the school’s eighth-ever 300 Baker game in the opening round vs. Dominican (N.Y.)
• The Dores won both Day 1 mega-matches vs. Dominican (N.Y.) and Sam Houston State to clinch a spot in the regional final
• Maryville won the mega-match in the championship match, but Vanderbilt swept the Saints in the if necessary best-of-seven Baker match to win the regional
POSTSEASON AWARDS ROLLING IN
• Freshman Abigania was named to the All-Conference USA Second Team
• She also earned a spot on the CUSA and NTCA All-Rookie teams
• Henderson was an All-Conference USA third-team selection
KEEPING UP WITH THE COMMODORES
The Dores will face of with No. 3 seed Arkansas State in a mega-match on Friday at 8 a.m. CT. Top-seeded Jacksonville State and Wichita State will meet on the other side of the bracket.
Action will be streamed on NCAA.com. The championship final match, which is set for Saturday at 5:30 p.m., will be aired on ESPNU.
