Duo Joins Commodore Bowling Team

Lindsey Greim, Macy Jones will join the Vanderbilt bowling team in fall 2026

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt bowling will add two freshmen to its roster next fall, head coach John Williamson announced Wednesday.

Lindsey Greim of San Diego, California, is a seven-time National Youth Open champion and current member of Developmental Junior Team USA. Greim’s bowling accolades include wins at two Storm Youth Championships, the 2025 PBA Junior Championship and the 2023 California Pepsi Championship. She was named the Junior Bowlers Tour So Cal Bowler of the Year and JBT all-conference. Greim has also been tabbed a JBT Girls Scratch All-Star and a San Diego Youth All-Star on three occasions. As a senior at Mt. Carmel High School, Greim is a member of the National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation and honor roll.

“Lindsay Greim is what we look for in Vanderbilt student-athletes,” Williamson said. “Lindsay has amassed an amazing youth bowling career and academics that make her a fantastic fit for Vanderbilt. Through hard work and dedication, she has put herself at the top of the class of 2026, and we are very fortunate to have her joining the team.”

Macy Jones comes to Nashville by way of Vandalia, Illinois. While prepping at Vandalia High School, Jones earned a spot on 2025 Junior Team USA and 2024 Developmental Team USA. She is a seven-time Elite Youth Tour champion and two-time Illinois State Scholarship Tour champion. On three occasions, she has been named to Team Illinois and won the youth open singles and all events championship in 2025. Outside of bowling, Jones is a member of the National Honor Society and honor roll.

“I’ve had the opportunity to watch Macy’s athletic career develop from a very young age, and I’m thrilled that the next step of that development is here at Vanderbilt,” associate head coach Josie Barnes said. “She has quietly amassed one of the strongest youth resumes in this recruiting class, and I think her disciplined, consistent approach will help her make a positive impact on this team.”

“We look forward to the impact both student-athletes will have on our program,” Williamson concluded.
