Women’s Basketball Children’s Hospital Visit Photo Gallery
The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team took a break from studying for finals this week and paid a visit to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt on Tuesday, December 13.
Members of the team who did not have an exam were joined by assistant coaches Vicky Picott and Tom Garrick to visit patients at the Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The team gathered in the hospital’s volunteer area to meet patients. They players signed autographs, took pictures, played basketball, checkers and Connect Four with the hospital guests. There was even an impromptu piano lesson.

The No. 20/18 Commodores return to action on Sunday, December 18, when they travel to NC State. Tipoff in Raleigh, N.C., is set for 1:00 p.m. CT.
