NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt men’s basketball will play UAB in a preseason exhibition matchup at Bartow Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, on Oct. 23. The contest is the second exhibition for the Commodores prior to the 2025-26 season.
The Dores trip to Bartow Arena will be the final tune-up prior to the regular season. Vanderbilt hosts Virginia in an exhibition a week prior to visiting the Blazers.
Vandy and UAB have met six times in official competitions with the Dores holding a 4-2 edge. The most recent meeting came in the 2023 NIT, a 67-59 UAB victory.
Tipoff time for the exhibition with the Blazers will be set at a later date.
