2010-11 Attendance Rankings

Vanderbilt’s women’s basketball team ranked 20th nationally in attendance out of 334 Division I schools during the 2010-11 season. In 15 regular season home games, the Commodores averaged 4,589 fans per game and totaled 68,828 spectators for the season.

Vanderbilt finished third in the SEC in attendance behind Tennessee and Kentucky. The Lady Vols led the nation in attendance with an average of 12,537 fans at 17 home games. Kentucky ranked 11th in attendance with an average of 6,364 fans at 15 home games.

The Commodores’ 2010-11 attendance numbers increased from the 2009-10 season when the team drew an average of 4,345 fans. Vanderbilt’s highest attendance for a home game was 11,386 against Tennessee on Feb. 13, 2011.

Louisville (10,589), UConn (9,496), Iowa State (9,370) and Notre Dame (8,553) rounded out the top five in average attendance.

Vanderbilt finished 20-12 overall this past season and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the 12th year in a row.
